I’m Sophia Sky, a Brighton-based artist. After ten years working as a designer, I found my way back to painting in 2025, and it quickly became more than just a creative outlet. It felt like coming home.

My work is rooted in colour. I’m drawn to strong compositions and folk-inspired patterns, creating pieces that feel both structured and expressive. I paint instinctively, but always with an eye on balance, form and placement... a quiet influence from my years in design.

I’m not interested in fast trends or decorative noise. I create art that feels intentional and lasting. Work that holds its own in a space, bringing calm, character to the everyday.
